About
T48 is an annual 48 hour film festival presented by the Tisch Undergraduate Student Council. Students work in teams to create films 5 minutes in length or less featuring a required prop, character, and line of dialogue. These films are then judged by expert professors from multiple departments, resulting in 10 to 15 finalists. The finalist films are screened at Cantor a few weeks after filming, and are eligible for awards from our three primary judges. Awards are announced at the After Party in the Reise Lounge directly following the Cantor screening.
Filming Period
Filming Period: Feb. 15th 6pm - 17th 6pm
At least one member of each team must pick up their team’s packet at Kickoff in the Reise Lounge at 6pm on Friday Feb. 15th. The screening will be at Cantor the evening of March 1st. The catered After Party will follow in the Reise Lounge. Before the screening, you will be notified if your film is a finalist and will be screened. Tickets are free.
All finalists will be up for consideration for awards by the three Primary Judges. These awards will be announced at the After Party.
The Screening and After Party are typically great events to invite your friends to! They can see your work and bask in your accomplishment.
